1 dead in van, truck collision on NLEx in Bulacan

CITY OF MALOLOS – A woman died while several others were hurt on Tuesday afternoon when a passenger van hit a six-wheel truck along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) in Balagtas, Bulacan, a report from the expressway’s operator said.

Francisco Dagohoy, media relations officer of the Tollways Management Corp. (TMC), the NLEx operator, said the truck and the van were traveling northbound along a lane leading to the expressway’s Tabang exit when the van hit the rear of the truck at 2 p.m.

Dagohoy said a woman, who was on the van’s front passenger seat, died before reaching the Bulacan Medical Center in this city.
