A magnitude 4.3 earthquake hit Occidental Mindoro Sunday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The quake occurred at 12:49 p.m. and was recorded 25 kilometers northwest of Paluan, Occidental Mindoro.
It had a depth of 25 kilometers.
The tectonic quake was felt in the following areas: Intensity 3 in Tagaytay City and Intensity 2 in Batangas City, Bauan, Batangas and Puerto Galera.
No aftershocks or damages were recorded due to the quake. AJH
