A WOMAN was arrested in an entrapment operation in Manila on Thursday for allegedly pimping five others to a sex client at P10,000 each.

When captured, 29-year-old Marissa Roa, alias Olga, of Bulacan province was with her two children aged 1 and 2.

A sting operation conducted by the Manila Police District (MPD) and the National Bureau of Investigation’s Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking employed a poseur client who was contacted by the suspect through text message.

The MPD said Roa was caught bringing five women, aged 19 to 26, to a hotel in Ermita, where she received marked money from the undercover agent. She is facing charges for five counts of qualified human trafficking, a nonbailable offense. Mariejo Ramos
