CEBU CITY—A 10-vehicle smash-up in Barangay (village) Canduman, Mandaue City killed one person and hurt seven others, and resulted in heavy traffic Saturday morning.
A wing van from Consolacion town, Cebu lost its brakes and collided with other vehicles along MC Briones Street at around 9 a.m. according to initial traffic report.
PO1 Rico Senilong of the Mandaue City Police Office traffic division identified the fatality as Manolito Subang, driver of a motorcycle which was hit by the van.
The incident resulted in the stalling of traffic on roads from Consalicion to Mandaue City.
