It could have been a scene taken right out of a horror movie.

Employees of a water firm who were checking water connections on Saturday night got the scare of their lives when they recovered part of a human skeleton.

Maynilad Water Services employee Dennis Deniega told the police that he and his other coworkers were repairing a waterline on Ilaya corner Padre Herrera Streets in Tondo, Manila, at around 11 p.m. when they made the grisly discovery.
