2 Indian brothers shot dead in Dagupan

DAGUPAN  CITY — Two Indian brothers were shot and killed by two men while they were eating in a canteen owned by their older sister in Malued District here on Sunday night, police said.


Supt. Christopher Abrahano, Dagupan police chief, said Sanjay and Rajesh Kathri, both of Barangay Bued in nearby Calasiao, Pangasinan, were having dinner with their mother when two men in ski masks arrived on a motorcycle and shot them at 9:30 p.m.

Sanjay died instantly while Rajesh died while being treated in a hospital here.


Abrahano said their investigation showed Sanjay was the gunmen’s target but Rajesh tried to intervene and stop them, prompting the suspects to shoot him also.
