The Basilica of San Sebastian in Quiapo, Manila, is considered the only all-steel church in the Philippines and one of the very few around the world. It was declared a minor basilica in 1890 by Pope Leo XIII. The church was declared a National Landmark by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 260 signed on Aug. 1, 1973, by then President Ferdinand Marcos.–Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
