I’ll decide on my birthday, De Lima says of Senate bid
To run or not to run for the Senate in 2016? Justice Secretary Leila de Lima said she is hoping that her decision will be firm come her birthday on August 27.
“Sa birthday ko na lang siguro most probably firm na ang magiging desisyon ko,” De Lima told reporters on Saturday.
She said the probability of her running was at 80 percent.

De Lima said Roxas deserves to be the one to continue the straight path started by the Aquino government.
“We all have a stake here. Mga gains ng current administration have to go beyond 2016. Sayang naman. We cannot afford na babalik na naman tayo dun sa mga baluktot na pamamaraan,” she added.
A movement called #Lima2016 was already launched to urge the justice secretary to run for the Senate in the national elections next year. KS
