BAGUIO CITY, Philippines —- Four men were hurt when their vehicle fell into the Bued River in Tuba, Benguet, on Monday afternoon, reports from a rescue group said.
Rafael Valencia, head of the volunteer rescue group 911 On-Call, said Jassie Estowe, 33; Antonio Zamora, 80; Anjay Zamora, 33; and Ben Casuang, 36, were hurt when their Mitsubishi Canter jeepney swerved and fell into a 15-meter deep ravine along the Twin Peaks section of Kennon Road at 1:30 p.m.
Valencia said the group was on its way to Baguio City when the accident happened.
The victims were taken to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center here.
