Fire hits residential area in Parañaque

A fire of still unknown origin hit a residential area in Parañaque Saturday morning.

Fire Officer 1 Jennilyn Guzman said they first heard of the fire at the Elizalde Compound in Moonwalk Village over the radio at 9:22 a.m.

It escalated to second alarm minutes later and reached third alarm at 9:37 a.m. This meant all of the five fire trucks in Parañaque were deployed to the area.

She said the fire was completely extinguished at 10:05 a.m.

Guzman said most of the houses in the area were made of light materials.
