Lawmaker seeks probe into alleged dumping of toxic waste

A Tarlac lawmaker has called for a congressional investigation into Canada’s alleged dumping of toxic wastes in the country.

Rep. Susan Yap, vice chair of the climate change committee of the House of Representatives, said the Philippine government must take legal action against the parties responsible for “these vile and reprehensible acts of waste dumping.” DJ Yap
