Only one worker left missing at collapsed Semirara mine

SEMIRARA ISLAND, Antique, Philippines – Only one worker remains missing from the mining accident on Semirara Island in Antique after the body of the 8th fatality was found early Tuesday.

The latest confirmed fatality was identified as Ian Catulay, 38, a native of Davao City, who was found at 2 a.m. at the Panian mining pit.

The search continues for Danilo Bayhon.
