Husband of slain bank teller faces parricide raps
The Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) has filed a case for parricide against the husband of slain bank teller Tania Camille Dee-Arcenas.
Fidel Sheildon Arcenas was named respondent in a letter complaint filed before the Department of Justice for violation of Article 246 of the Revised Penal Code for parricide. Arcenas’ girlfriend, Ma. Angela Francesca Dychioco, was included in the complaint for violation of Article 248 or murder.
One of the witnesses of the police is Regina Dychioco, mother of Ma. Angela Francesca. She was the one who informed the authorities about the “foul odor” coming from her vacant house in Baranglay Balibago, Angeles City, which turned out to be the body of the missing bank teller.
She also voluntarily turned over to the police her daughter who admitted in her affidavit that she was shocked and afraid for her own life that she helped Arcenas bury the body of the victim.
Ma. Angela Francesca said that Arcenas informed her on June 20 that he would meet his estranged wife to give her money because she plans to buy a place of her own.
She said she allowed them to meet at their vacant house because it was not safe to be counting and handing over P400,000. The young Dychioco said that when she went to the house that evening, she was greeted by her boyfriend who told her to toughen up.

Angela Francesca said in her affidavit, adding that Arcenas washed off blood stains.

After which, Sheldon placed another towel beneath the head of the cadaver and told me to assist him in dragging the body towards the kitchen exit. I did all these without much choice as I was then engulfed with so much panic by what I just witnessed and so much fear of what Sheldon might do to me….,” she further said.
She added that they threw away the victim”s personal effects in Malolos, Bulacan, using Arcenas’ Grandia Van.
The body of Dee was found seven days later buried in a shallow pit at the back of the Dychioco’s house.
The police recommended that the mother and daughter be placed under the government’s Witness Protection Program (WPP) for their safety considering that Arcenas is still at large. AU
