Shipped Ecstasy seized

/ 05:39 AM July 06, 2015

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized 1,358 Ecstasy tablets worth P2 million sent from the Netherlands and intercepted by the Philippine Postal Corp. last week.

The parcel, in a box wrapped in aluminium foil, was declared as comic books. The contraband was sent from the Netherlands by a J. M. de Jong.

The seizure came 10 days after the PDEA and a drug interdiction task group at the international airport confiscated 500 Ecstasy tablets from the same sender to the same recipient.
