Cement spilled from mixer causes heavy traffic on C5 Ortigas northbound lane–MMDA

MANILA, Philippines — Spilled cement from a concrete mixer which figured in an accident along Ortigas snarled traffic Tuesday morning, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.

Dang Rosulada of the MMDA Metrobase said the cement, which lay on the road along the northbound lane of C5 in Ortigas, in front of Tiendesitas, was still being cleared by MMDA personnel as of 9 a.m.

“Tumagilid yung cement mixer kaninang mga 5 a.m. May iniwasan daw na motorcycle kaya naaksidente,” said Rosulada.

She said that traffic from Market! Market! to Ortigas Avenue was still heavy as of 9 a.m.
