Rama to KBP: Report good things I did, too

CEBU City Mayor Michael Rama challenged members of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas to  report also the positive things he and his administration has done.

Rama said it was okay to attack him but report also something good that his administration had done.

Rama made the challenge during the KBP Night celebration on Friday at the Metro Cebu Water District auditorium.

The mayor also clarified that he didn’t gatecrash the event but he was invited to the event by his public information officer Carlo Dugaduga and consultant Tony Avila.

His reaction came after KBP Cebu Chapter President Ruphil Bañoc criticized him in his radio program

He would have wanted this year’s celebration to be “independent” and without the presence of any politicians.

Banoc said he was especially angry when Rama took out money from his pocket and had it raffled off.

Rama, however, said that he didn’t volunteer to raffle cash.

“Wala ta mo deretso ug pang hatag.  Nananghid ta,” he said.

He said that the event hosts also asked him if he was willing to give out additional prizes. /Chief of Reporters Doris C. Bongcac
