1,201 out of 1,964 pass June 2015 architecture board exam

A total of 1,201 out of 1,964 examinees passed the recent licensure examinations for architects, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Friday.

Data from PRC showed that University of Santo Tomas (UST) emerged as top-performing school after recording an 88.74-percent passing rate, equivalent to 197 passers out of 222 takers.

University of San Carlos came in second with 85.92 percent or 61 passers out of 71 examinees.

The PRC requires 50 or more examines with at least 80-percent passing rate for a school to be declared as top-performing.

FEATURED STORIES

Christian Lyle La Madrid of UST topped the exam with 85.90-percent passing rate.

The exam was administered by the Board of Architecture in Manila, Cebu, and Legaspi this June.
