Today, June 19, is the founding anniversary of the Civil Service Commission (CSC). On June 19, 1959, Republic Act No. 2260, or the Civil Service Law, was enacted, converting the Bureau of Civil Service into the CSC and giving it department status. The office of the CSC is located at the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Batasan Hills, Quezon City.–Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
