Cloudy skies, light rains forecast over parts of PH on Friday

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms are forecast over parts of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao on Friday, the state weather bureau said.

The intertropical convergence zone in Visayas will bring rains over Bicol region, Mimaropa, Visayas and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its 5 p.m. bulletin.

In Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening will prevail.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the southeast to south will prevail over Luzon and coming from the southwest to south over the rest of the country, Pagasa said.

The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
