Filipino Muslims to start observing Ramadan Thursday

COTABATO CITY, Philippines–Muslims in the Philippines will start observing the holy month of Ramadan on Thursday.

Mufti Abu Hurairah Udasan on Tuesday night declared that fasting would start Thursday dawn.

The team of lunar observers in Central Mindanao and its network of other observers elsewhere, failed to sight the New Moon.
