Magnitude 4.1 quake hits off Batangas

A magnitude 4.1 earthquake has sent jolts 19 kilometers west of Calatagan, Batangas Saturday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.

In its earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said the tectonic quake happened at 1:03 p.m. and sent Intensity III movements to Puerto Galera in Oriental Mindoro and in Paluan and Abra de Ilog in Occidental Mindoro.

Muntinlupa City felt Intensity I movements.

Phivolcs said it is not expecting any damage nor any aftershocks. IDL
