An estimated P9 million worth of “shabu” (methamphethamine hydrochloride) was seized by combined operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Philippine National Police on Friday in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
In a statement on Tuesday, PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac said authorities arrested a certain Ferdinand Jose Camacho alias “Ferdie” and Oder Saipuding along Pereras Compound at Barangay Magugpo West at around 7 p.m. after selling a kilogram of shabu to a poser buyer.
PDEA said a tip from a concerned citizen paved the way for the operation.
The suspects were caught handing over the shabu in exchange of marked money, the report said.
PDEA said authorities also confiscated different drug paraphernalia in the buy-bust operation. YG/RC
