Part of Osmeña Highway closed from June 6 to 8 for Skyway 3 dry run

A portion of Osmeña Highway from Buendia off-ramp to Dela Rosa Street in Makati City will be closed from Saturday to Monday (June 6 to 8) for a dry run of the Skyway Stage 3 construction Project.

In a report by Ruel Perez of Radyo Inquirer 990AM, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the 225-meter stretch would be temporarily closed from 6:00 a.m. on June 6 to 12 midnight on June 8 to determine the effect of the construction to traffic flow in the area.

Because of the closure, private motorists going to Manila and Makati central business district may exit at Magallanes, Don Bosco, or Amorsolo.

Buses, meanwhile, may only take the Magallanes and Don Bosco routes.

The Skyway management and MMDA are asking the public for understanding and cooperation.

The Skyway Stage 3, which will run from Gil Puyat Avenue in Makati to Balintawak in Quezon City, aims to connect the North and South Luzon Expressways. Yuji Gonzales/IDL
