A target-listed drug carrier was arrested by authorities on Tuesday after being caught selling “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in Quezon City.
In a report by the Quezon City Police District, Director Police Chief Superintendent Joel Pagdilao said Rodolfo Geneta, the seventh most wanted suspected drug pusher of La Loma Police Station, was caught in the act of selling six transparent plastic sachets of shabu to a still unidentified male buyer.
The report said the illegal transaction happened at around 10:30 p.m. along Tingan corner G. Roxas streets in San Jose.
The suspects ran when authorities approached them, resulting in a brief chase that led to Geneta’s arrest. The buyer, however, managed to escape.
Geneta is now under police custody, while a manhunt operation is now being conducted against the buyer. Yuji Gonzales/IDL
