President Aquino appoints 11 new justices in Metro Manila
President Benigno Aquino III has appointed 11 new justices in various parts of Metro Manila.
Newly appointed judges include Niño Delvin Embuscano of Makati Metropolitan Trial Court (MTC) Branch 66, Juliet Azarraga-Chonyongco of Caloocan MTC Branch 53 and Maria Lorenza Barias-Siosana of Caloocan MTC Branch 49.
Maria Ella Cecilia Dumlao-Escalante will fill the post at Quezon City MTC Branch 35. She is the chief of staff of Court of Appeals Associate Justice Japar Dimaampao.
Other appointed judges are Michelle Divina-Delfin (Manila MTC Branch 8), Minerva Alejandria-Bautista (Manila MTC Branch 16), Paul Flor (Manila MTC Branch 20), Remiebel Unica Mondia (Pasay City MTC Branch 45), Rolando de Guzman Jr. (Pasig City MTC Branch 72), John Boomsri Rodolfo (Quezon City MTC Branch 38) and Don Ace Mariano Alagar (Quezon City MTC Branch 43).
The newly appointed judges were screened by the Judicial and Bar Council.
The transmittal letter has been forwarded by the Malacañang to the Supreme Court on May 27.
