US police: 2 dead, several hurt in shooting at Wal-Mart
GRAND FORKS, North Dakota — Police say two people have died in a shooting at a Wal-Mart store in North Dakota.
Officers responded to reports of gunshots shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday. Deputy Police Chief Mike Ferguson says officers discovered “multiple victims” inside the store, and several of them were taken to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Police did not immediately release any details on the shooter but said that they do not believe there is any further risk to the general public.
The names of the two people who died were not immediately released.
