A TROUGH of a low pressure area will bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms over Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan group of islands, the state weather bureau said Monday.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
On Sunday, the highest temperature in Metro Manila was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius at 2 p.m.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the south to southwest will prevail over Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough, Pagasa said.
Winds will be light to moderate coming from the southeast to south over the rest of Luzon and of the Visayas and from the east to southeast over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas.
