The antigraft court granted the request of the prosecution to cancel the proceedings to allow them to mark all the evidence before the defense lawyers make their manifestations.
Prosecutor Joefferson Toribio said the prosecution has not finished the marking of the more than 400 pieces of documentary evidence, adding that it would take time.
The lawyer of Revilla, Ramon Esguerra, said they would need to review each document presented by the prosecution.
Revilla is detained at the Philippine National Police Custodial Center on charges of graft and plunder over his alleged involvement in the multibillion-peso pork barrel scam.
The pre-trial hearing was reset to September 30. IDL
