4 found stabbed to death inside Davao City house

DAVAO CITY – Four persons – including three minors – were found dead with multiple stab wounds inside a house in a subdivision in Barangay (village) Catalunan Pequeño here early morning Wednesday.

The victims were identified as Ceasar Ann Omila, 12; Liezel Buronggan, 12; Philip Sacro, 17; and Virginia Sacro, 58.

All the victims were related to each other, says Senior Insp. Milgrace Driz, the spokesperson of the city police office.

Driz said the incident was brought to the police’s attention by Ramon Curay, Ceasar Ann’s stepfather.

Driz said Curay claimed that he came home from his work at a call center here around 6 a.m. and found the victims’ bodies sprawled in various parts of the house.

Driz said police investigators found no sign of forcible entry into the house and that nothing was missing from it.

She said the police decided to place Curay under further questioning as investigators found inconsistencies in his statement. Three other persons were also investigated, including Sacro’s alleged boyfriend, but Driz said nothing was certain as of yet.

The police, Driz said, still had no clear lead as to the motive and identity or identities of the perpetrators. Richy Nalagon, contributor
