Hospital looking for patient’s kin
MANILA, Philippines–The social welfare department of San Lazaro Hospital in Sta. Cruz, Manila, is looking for relatives of Enrico Villabona Almirañez who was admitted to the hospital on March 24 for pulmonary tuberculosis.
After recovering from his ailment, the 61-year-old Almirañez has been cleared for discharge by doctors at the hospital. But because he does not know where his relatives are, he has been referred to the Golden Reception and Action Center for the Elderly and Other Special Cases (Graces) in Tanay, Rizal.
According to Almirañez whom his friends call Butch, he was born on Dec. 25, 1953, to Isidra Villabora Almirañez and Silverio Pasatiempo Almirañez, both now deceased.
Before he was brought to the hospital, he used to live on Ibarra Street in Sampaloc, Manila.
