‘Depressed’ man jumps off QC mall
A 25-year-old man jumped to his death reportedly from the third floor of the SM City North Edsa Annex in Quezon City late Wednesday.
Roberto Candelaria, of Baesa, Quezon City, jumped for “a reason of his own,” according to case investigator PO3 Jonathan Diva of the Masambong Police Station.
In a spot report, Diva said responding officers rushed Candelaria to QC General Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival by Dr. Fuentes Mendoza at about 10 p.m.
In a dzMM report, the victim’s family said Candelaria had a history of depression.
INQUIRER.net tried to reach the corporate communications department of SM Malls but they have yet to issue a statement.
