MANILA, Philippines — Commuters can breathe easy Sunday as the Metro Rail Transit 3 is back on full line operations, a spokesman for the MRT3 and Light Rail Transit Authority said.
Lawyer Hernando Cabrera announced that the MRT 3’s full line operation has resumed at 5:30 a.m., after technicians continued repairs Saturday night.
The MRT3 shut down Saturday morning after power failure hit its North Avenue Station, affecting its signalling system.
It resumed half-line operations Saturday afternoon but could not regain full-line operations in the same day.
