A low pressure area (LPA) is seen to enter the Philippine area of responsibility on Tuesday, but it is not expected to intensify.
The LPA was last observed 1,110 kilometers east of Surigao del Norte, Panahon TV said.
The weather disturbance has a small chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours.
The LPA will bring warm and humid temperature in the next few hours.
The easterlies, meanwhile, will continue to bring partly to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms in the country. RC
