Residents of six towns in Isabela will have to endure the heat of summer without power for 10 hours on Wednesday as the local electric cooperative undertakes maintenance work on its facilities.

Lilibeth Gaydowen, of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), said the towns of Roxas, Mallig, San Miguel, Aurora, Quirino, Quezon, and Burgos will have no electricity from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Gaydowen said the Isabela Electronic Cooperative II would be replacing wooden electric posts and performing other maintenance work along the Gamu-Roxas line. Ed Glorious Cabading/Inquirer.net/Trainee/CB
