Traffic advisory for Saturday’s Aliwan Fiesta

The Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit (MDTEU) on Tuesday issued a traffic rerouting scheme in anticipation of the 2015 Aliwan Fiesta this Saturday.

According to the advisory, the southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard from Katigbak to Pablo Ocampo (formerly Vito Cruz) streets will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

It said motorists who would be affected should take the following alternate routes:

Those who are planning to take the three (3) bridges—Jones, MacArthur and Quezon—going to southbound lane of Roxas Blvd. are advised to take Palacio Street, go straight to Ma. Orosa, right to TM Kalaw, left to MH del Pilar, left to Pres. Quirino, right to Mabini or use Taft Ave. to point of destination.

All vehicles coming from northern part of Manila intending to pass the southbound lane of Roxas Blvd. from P. Burgos to P. Ocampo shall turn left to P. Burgos right to Ma. Orasa, right to TM Kalaw, left to MH del Pilar, left to Pres. Quirino, right Mabini or use Taft Ave. to point of destination.

All motorists coming from adjacent roads of P. Burgos, T.M Kalaw, U.N Ave., P. Gil, Pres. Aquino and P. Ocampo shall take Taft Ave., or M.H del Pilar to point of destination.

All vehicles travelling westbound land of Pres. Quirino intending to utilize the southbound lane of Roxas blvd., shall turn left to Adriaico, right to P. Ocampo, left to FB Harrison to point of destination. Alyssa Marie Jacinto, Trainee, INQUIRER.net
