Partly cloudy Tuesday—Pagasa
The country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorm, the state weather bureau said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail throughout the entire archipelago with slight to moderate seas.
The eastern section of the country will be affected by the easterlies.
In a bulletin issued at 10 a.m., a storm is “less likely to develop” over Metro Manila in the next 12 hours.
Despite the thunderstorm warning issued yesterday, Pagasa warned that in Metro Manila, the heat index could reach up to 38.9 degrees.
Earlier, Aurora, Nueva Vizcaya and Isabela were affected by light to moderate rains and all were advised to take precautionary measures against heavy rain, strong winds and lightning and keep monitoring for updates. Alyssa Marie A. Jacinto/inquirer.net/Trainee
