Butch Abad: Mar Roxas still LP’s 2016 bet
‘Binay administration’
Salgado said that should the Vice President win the 2016 elections, the “Binay administration” would focus on improving the lives of the people while working with all political parties, including non-allies, on a shared agenda of real inclusive growth.
Binay’s camp took exception to what they believe is Roxas’ veiled attack against the Vice President, saying the former had followed the “low road” of the senators who had been on the forefront of the campaign against Binay.
“It is also unfortunate for Secretary Roxas to repeat the same baseless and malicious allegations made in the Senate against the Vice President,” Salgado said.
“For the last seven months, the senators have waged a vicious campaign of lies against the Vice President. They presented spurious and even fake documents and falsely presented as proof the mere say-so of local political enemies,” he added.
Without naming names, Salgado then turned the tables on Roxas’ party mates.

There is no room for bitter, destructive feud under the leadership of Binay should he be elected president in 2016, according to his camp.
Salgado was reacting to the response of Roxas to the offer of the Vice President that he be his running mate in next year’s presidential race.
“The Vice President simply wanted to stress the need for healing and unity. Under his presidency, there will be no room for political vendetta,” Salgado said in a statement.
Roxas earlier turned down Binay’s proposal that he run with him in the 2016 elections, saying he would not “tread the crooked path.”
