MRT 3 bogs down due to power failure
MANILA, Philippines — Metro Rail Transit 3 operations bogged down due to power failure Saturday morning, a spokesman for the MRT3 and Light Rail Transit Authority said.
Lawyer Hernando Cabrera said they temporarily suspended operations of MRT 3 trains at around 10:50 a.m.
Power failure at their North Avenue Station disrupted their signalling system, he said, adding that their technicians were working to repair the damage.
Meanwhile, passengers may still board their LRT 1 and 2 trains, said the spokesperson.
