Detained real-estate developer Delfin Lee will appear at the Senate on Monday to testify against Vice President Jejomar Binay, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV said on Friday.
“Yes, s’ya ‘yung testigo sa Monday at may ibubunyag s’ya kay Vice President Binay (Yes, he will be the witness on Monday and he will reveal some things about Vice President Binay),” Trillanes told reporters in a phone interview.

Trillanes said Lee was just among the new witnesses that will testify at the resumption of the Senate blue ribbon subcommittee hearing on the alleged irregularities committed by past and present officials of Makati City.
The Office of the Senate’s Sergeant at Arms served the subpoena to Lee through the court’s handling the businessman’s case.
Lee was arrested last year and charged with syndicated estafa, a nonbailable crime, in connection with two housing projects in Pampanga province.
“May courter order na (There is a court order already),” Trillanes said when asked if the court has allowed the businessman to attend the hearing.
The senator refused to give further details except saying that Lee’s testimony would be an expose against the Vice President.
