Did you know: BenCab’s 73rd birthday

Today, April 10, is the 73rd birthday of National Artist for Painting Benedicto “BenCab” Cabrera. Born in Malabon, his first exhibition was held in 1960 at the Indigo Gallery in Ermita, Manila. He later held solo exhibits around Europe. He was conferred the title National Artist in 2006. Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
