VICE President Jejomar Binay dared Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Wednesday to file a case if indeed his family had bought an injunction from the Court of Appeals to stop the suspension of his son, Makati Mayor Jun-Jun Binay.
“Tingnan natin kung ano ang magiging consequences sa sinabi niya. That’s his statement, ‘di i-file na niya,” the Vice President said in an interview with reporters in Pasay City.
(Let’s see the consequences of his statement. That’s his statement, then he should file a case.)
“Ito naman puros sabi-sabi wala naman siyang mapu-pruweba. Anyway, ‘yun na yata ‘yung tatak Trillanes,” he said when sought for comment on Trillanes’ allegation.
(These are all just allegations, he has no proof. Anyway, I think that’s Trillanes’ style)

Asked if Trillanes should prove his allegation, Binay said: “Hindi, ihabla niya ‘yung graft and corruption, whatever, ‘di ba? (No, he should file graft and corruption case.)”
“Narinig mo naman sinabi ko, tatak Trillanes ‘yung mambibintang, maninira, manlalait, hindi naman niya maipruweba.”
(You heard what I said, it’s Trillanes’ style — to accuse, malign but he can’t prove it.)
“…Kung sa salitang kalye, pa-porma kasi ito. Puro porma,” Binay added, still referring to Trillanes.
Trillanes also initiated the Senate investigation on alleged anomalies committed by the past and present officials of Makati City. AC
