MALAYSIA — In an attempt to surprise his girlfriend, a real estate agent donned a bridal gown and a mask before proposing to her at the Gurney Paragon Mall in Penang.

Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported that Yeap Qian Yao, 27, had asked his girlfriend Xu Shan Shan, 28, to meet him at the mall on Tuesday to attend “a friend’s birthday party.”

He disguised himself as a member of a dance troupe he had hired and invited Xu to dance along.
