Edgardo Enriquez sustained a minor abrasion on his right arm and foot as he tried to put out the fire before seeking help from the fire station, according to city fire marshal Supt. Jesus Fernandez.

The 60-year-old furniture shop owner was alone when the fire started at the house on No.33 Kalayaan Avenue corner V. Luna Avenue in Barangay Pinyahan.
