SC orders CA, Mayor Binay to answer Ombudsman petition

The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday ordered the Court of Appeals (CA) and Makati Mayor Jejomar Erwin “Junjun” Binay to comment on the petition filed by Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales which sought the nullification of the restraining order issued by the appeals court.

Both the Court of Appeals Sixth Division and Mayor Binay were given not later than April 6 to submit a comment. ID
