WEATHER: Clouds, light rain over Luzon

MANILA, Philippines – Luzon will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and isolated thunderstorms on Monday, the state weather bureau said.

A low pressure area was last observed 260 kilometers west of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.


The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough, Pagasa said.


Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to north with slight to moderate seas.
