Cops mum on probers’ findings on Jolo Revilla shooting

The special investigating team tasked to look into the Feb. 28 incident that saw Cavite Vice Gov. Jolo Revilla accidentally shooting himself in the chest has completed its probe.

Senior Supt. Allan Nobleza, officer in charge of the Muntinlupa police and the head of the team, said that they submitted their findings to the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) on Wednesday.

Nobleza, however, refused to say what these were, saying he was not authorized to speak on the matter.

NCRPO Director Carmelo Valmoria, meanwhile, confirmed receipt of the investigative team’s “20-plus page report that includes attachments” but said that it had yet to be finalized.

“What was submitted was not the final report. Before we present any finding, we will still have to look at the overall picture; if these findings and the supporting documents jibe,” he explained.
