Manila-Sagada bus route to open in April
MANILA, Philippines—You need not wait for long to find your “Tadhana” and witness the sea of clouds at Mt. Kiltepan.
Starting April, a new bus company will be plying the Manila to Sagada route via Bontoc.
According to a Facebook post by Coda Lines, a bus from Manila will leave for Sagada at 8 p.m. while a bus from Sagada will depart for Manila at 2:30 p.m.
Previously, no direct trip from Manila to Sagada has been offered. Tourists who want to go to Sagada will have to depart from Baguio City, Bontoc or Banawe.
The fare for the Manila to Sagada trip was not released by Coda Lines.
Last year, a Florida Liner-bus bound for Bontoc, a “jump-off point” going to Sagada, fell into a ravine, killing 14 people and injuring 32 others. AJH
