EXTRA TANODS SOUGHT
A MANDAUE City councilor is proposing to increase the number of barangay tanods in the city.
Councilor Demetrio Cortes said the additional tanods should be deployed in strategic areas in the 27 city barangays to help prevent crimes.
This will reinforce police efforts to maintain peace with tanods acting as a “force multiplier,” he said in a proposed resolution.
