3.3-magnitude quake jolts Digos City

DIGOS CITY — A Magnitude 3.3 earthquake jolted Digos City in Davao del Sur on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.

Phivolcs posted that the quake struck 17 kilometers Southeast of Digos City at around 11:57 a.m.

The earthquake, which was tectonic in origin, has a depth of 83 kilometers.

The tremor was felt in the city and nearby towns.

According to Phivolcs, no damages and aftershocks are expected.
