Cebu resident tops physician’s licensure exams

CEBU CITY, Philippines–A Cebu resident topped the physicians’ licensure examination held early in February.

Venil Lovely Estella Bolambao of the Southwestern University had a rating of 88.34 percent.

Two more Cebuanos–Mark Lalay Ando and Rodrigo Jr Go Monleon–who are both from the Cebu Doctors’ University–also made it to the top 10 spot.

Ando ranked third with an average of 86.83 percent while Monleon was in the 8th place with an average of 85.75 percent.

Monleon shares the 8th place slot with Angela Pauline Patawaran Calimag-Loyola of the University of Sto. Tomas and Edward Harry Marfil Vallereja of the University of Perpetual Help System in Laguna.

A total of 832 examinees took the February examination of the Professional Regulations Commission but only 594 passed the examination.
